Giovanni Battista Piranesi (Italian, 1720-1778). An antique 18th Century engraved etching on paper. Titled, "Royal or Consular Tomb in the Alban Hills" produced on two pages circa 1764. An Italian architectural landscape depicting Roman ruins, with figures, architectural elements, trees, and other forms. Italian printed to lower right describing the work. Presented with a mat border in a gilt embellished museum quality carved wood frame.

Work Size: 21.5 x 25 in.

Dimensions: 29.25 X 33.5 X .5 in.

Condition: Good to fair overall antique condition having mild age related surface wear and toning, with toning and foxing to mat, and central vertical page crease. Frame has moderate to heavy storage wear and losses to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
