In mit Goldornamenten verziertem ebonisiertem Profilrahmen.

Auf einer niedrigen planen Oberfläche die mit Akanthusblattrelief verzierte Metallvase. Darin ein Schaustillleben verschiedener Blüten, deren Pracht sich über den gesamten Bildraum erstreckt. Die qualitätvolle Malerei reicht an die des Giovanni Stanchis heran, weshalb uns eine Zuschreibung als denkbar erscheint.

Giovanni Stanchi wirkte im Kreis des bekannten Mario de Fiori, dessen Blumenmalerei er übernommen hatte, wie sie bereits um 1600 im Palazzo Colonna da Nuzi zu sehen war. Alsbald hatte auch Stanchi immensen Erfolg. (1271932) (2) (13)

Giovanni Stanchi was active in the circle of the famous artist Mario de Fiori, whose floral painting style he adopted, as can already be observed around 1600 at the Palazzo Colonna da Nuzi. Stanchi soon became a successful artist in his own right.
