Ganz dem Stil des Bassano verpflichtete italienische Landschaft mit reicher Figuren- und Tierstaffage. Vor dem Dunkel der bewaldeten Hügel zeichnen sich strahlend die Figuren ab, welche ihrer Tätigkeit nachgehen, wie sie für die ländliche Bevölkerung im Frühling typisch war.
