Mixed media, original monotype, depicting a fisherman in the port of Naples, signed Giuseppe Aprea. Painter born in Naples in 1877 and deceased in 1946. Studio at the Institute of Fine Arts in Naples with Domenico Morelli and Filippo Palizzi, he participated in various Promotrici Salvator Rosa and during his career he attended many national and international exhibitions, enjoying great success with important sales of works of great value. In 1908 he was appointed professor of drawing and figure at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. In good condition, with slight traces of aging, no traces of restoration emerged under Wood’s lamp. The buyer will receive a complimentary frame (not pictured) . It being a gift, we do not accept any complaints regarding damage to the frame caused by shipping.
