Giuseppe Armani for Florence Sculture d'Arte glazed cold-cast porcelain sculpture titled Caribbean Beauty, model 1784L. The work depicts a Black woman in a white polka-dot bikini posed beside a wide-brimmed sun hat with a draped scarf. The base features an incised Giuseppe Armani signature on the front. The reverse of the base bears a blue crowned N mark next to an impressed copyright symbol and the text 2003 FLORENCE. An oval adhesive label on the underside identifies the piece as 1973 G FLORENCE sculture d'arte Original GIUSEPPE ARMANI FIGURINES MADE IN ITALY, accompanied by a rectangular factory label printed with the model name Caribbean Beauty and the number 1784L. Made in Italy. The original blue presentation box is included.
