Watercolour on card stock, cm 25 x 36 textured with white lead by Giuseppe Laezza (1835 - approx. 1905) , signed on bottom right “Gius. Laezza" from an important and prestigious private collection. Beautiful non-coeval complimentary frame. Size with frame: 40 x 53. The painting has not undergone restoration over the years and it is in good condition with a normal patina due to aging, always preserved under glass, it is advisable to remove the normal glass and replace it with a museum-grade anti-glare glass. Well known work of the artist and subject repeatedly investigated and proposed, almost a classic. Last auctioned by the Casa d'Aste Vincente Auction 23 of 26/02/2009 lot 57 with an estimate of € 1800 - 2200 and a starting price of € 1350. Certificate of authenticity and lawful origin issued by an Art expert and by a Court technical expert. Tracked shipping via express courier, with accurate and professional packaging in a custom-made wooden crate.
