Giuseppe Vasari (1934-2005) Italian. Guaranteed Authentic. Signed metal with gold gilt and onyx playing pieces and figural board. Sculptured pieces feature well defined battle ready figures with gold gilt and circular onyx bases. The playing board is onyx with the support having a scroll motif pattern and a cherub on each of the four corners "holding up" the metal structure. Estate fresh to the market. Signed on bottom of each piece made in Italy Giuseppe Vasari. Comes with standard 32 pieces. Good to Fair overall condition with minor wear and slight gilt loss consistent with age and use. Pawn pieces measure 3" x 1 1/2". The remaining pieces are all approximately 3 1/2" x 1 3/4". Playing board measures 18" x 18". Provenance: Private Miami Beach Estate.
