A very attractive, heavy wristwatch with hand-painted "Meissen" porcelain dial. The watch was serviced at Glashütte Original in April 2019 Movm. No. 01001, Ref. 1-00-10-01-01-04, Cal. GUB 100, Case No. 0054, Dimensions 40 mm, circa 2010, Origin Deutschland, Original box, Original certificate, Service card, Accessories, gold original clasp Case: 18 K rose gold, screwed on glazed back. Dial: Porcelain, swords brand Meissen. Movm.: Automatic. This highly unusual timepiece is a result from the cooperation of two renowned Saxon manufactories – the Meissen porcelain manufactory and the watch manufactory Glashütte Original. Keeping in with tradition, the dial features Roman hours as well as the Glashütte Original logo and the Meissen crossed swords, which have been hand-painted painstakingly on the white dial. The "Senator Meissen" has a 40 mm rose gold case with a sapphire caseback that reveals the automatic manufacture calibre GUB 100. Case: very good. Dial: very good.
