Glass snuffbox imitating tortoiseshell, China, 1820–1880
Rounded and flattened in shape, made of double-layered, blown honey-colored glass with black inclusions imitating tortoiseshell. It rests on an oval base, the hollow of which is carved with a small flower. Stopper made of coral and a copper alloy.
