Glenallachie 16 Year Old Present Edition is the second in the series following the past to celebrate the half century career of master Billy Walker.
This rare expression illustrates the master's present, where he greedily implements an incredibly innovative cask management policy. After initial maturation in PX and Oloroso Sherry casks, the single malt has benefited from secondary ageing in specially selected Mizunara casks, a very rare and expensive species of Japanese oak. This expression is firmly oriented towards complex notes of dental wood and cinnamon.
