Glenfarclas 1999 Single Cask no. 7500 for Jarek Buss & Son - 700ml
Glenfarclas Chapter #13 is a unique single cask with an amazing story.
For it is a barrel filled on the last day of the previous millennium
- December 31, 1999 at Glenfarclas Distillery. As you know, in most distilleries, if not in all distilleries, the crews are on vacation between Christmas and New Year. So there is a high probability that this is the last cask ever filled in Scotland in 1999.
Additionally, in the absence of personnel, the barrel was personally filled by John Grant, accompanied by his father Georg and his son, also Georg. The whiskey itself is extremely complex, full of both Glenfarclas distillery hallmarks, as well as non-obvious cellar notes.
