Glenfiddich 21 years old Winterstorm - batch 2 - Original bottling - 700ml

Glenfiddich Winterstorm, 21 yrs, experimental series no. 3, batch no. 2. Nose Candied fruits and a strong sweetness set the first accents. The nose is very light and almost too gentle for me. Pineapple, papayas, a hint of passion fruit, pears, apricots, marshmallows, vanilla pods, minimal herbal aromas and light oak notes are present. Taste The Glenfiddich starts with a very soft and slightly oily texture on the palate. A very subtle tingling is noticeable for a short time on the first sip. The candied (tropical) fruits from the nose are immediately back and sparkle a nice sweetness. Vanilla, honey, a hint of various herbs and spicy oak notes join in the mix. But: The Malt lacks for my feeling noticeable strength.
