Condition Report: Type: Glycine Airman Special, "12 On Top" Dial Circa 1965Dial: matte black, with inner seconds and minute tracks, outer 24-hour Arabic numerals with luminous dash and dot markersHands: luminous syringe minute hand and arrowhead baton hour handMetal: stainless steelCase Info: three body case with screw down case back and locking, bi-directional bezelCase Length: 46Case Width: 36mmWatch Movement: Felsa 692N, 17 jewel automatic movementBand: green nato strapCirca: 1965Condition: the watch is in good condition. Rare "12 on top" dial and hands are in good condition, with little wear visible. This watch also retains it's semi-hacking pin at the 12 o' clock; pull the crown out, and the seconds hand will stop at 12. rotating 24 hour bezel still retains it's black enamel within the hours, and turns smoothly. Crystal is noticeably scratched, most prominently around 3-4 o' clock. Lugs show some wear, most noticeably on the top two. The watch sets and runs but the service history is unknown and a service is recommended. Heritage Auctions strongly encourages in-person inspection of items by the bidder.
