Provenance: Purchased at Skinner by the consignor from the Nancy and Gilbert Levine collection. The collection formed the Museum of Arts and Sciences traveling exhibition A Century of Jewelry & Gems: 1785-1885, which was accompanied by a published catalog in 1995.
