The Arsenopyrite exhibits crystal faces, while the Gold displays numerous modified octahedrons and dodecahedrons. Mined in 2019, this quite rare specimen is one of THE best combinations of Gold crystals "floating" in Arsenopyrite likely to be seen. The weighty example consists of a blocky white Quartz matrix, framing a silvery mass of Arsenopyrite that hosts elegant patches of crystallized Gold over the neutral colored backgrounds. From the famed Oriental Mine in California, the collector specimen contains nearly 15 troy ounces of net Gold content. This hefty offering comes mounted on a custom engraved acrylic base for elegant display in a cabinet.
