[With]: the original black cloth folio. Printed front wrapper mounted on upper cover, decorative endpapers, signed in ink by Goncharova and Larionow on the half-title, additional in-text reproductions laid in; disbound, covers repaired, a few losses to endpapers and scattered wear.

Published to mark the occasion of Larionov and Goncharova's arrival in Paris from Russia, and the grand exhibition of their theatrical work at the Galerie Barbazanges. Includes Larionov's Masque théâtral, Equilibre de la Danse, and La Paon — the mechanical peacock costume. This sumptuous portfolio highlights the avant-garde artists' ongoing concern with costume design expressed through a distinctly cubist sensibility filled with vibrant color and abstract forms.
