Good Pair Antique Staffordshire Pottery Sheep

Early to mid 19th century, likely Newcastle. The pair having a bold form and nicely sponge decorated body. Good original condition with no apparent restoration.The female piece having a crack at verso which is very tight and early, as well as some flakes to the head. Otherwise good overall condition with expected crazing to surface. H4 1/4" Sold from the collection of Mrs. Joanne Pirkle of Buckhead, Atlanta Georgia.
