Gorgeous Certified BG-69 Jimi Hendrix Poster

This is the companion poster to the BG-68 and it was designed by Clifford Charles Sealy. This was the first show that Hendrix played after the famous Monterey Pop Festival where he lit his guitar on fire. When Hendrix was a relatively new act that few had heard of, he opened for Gabor Szabo and Jefferson Airplane. After the Airplane played, Hendrix played his second set. When he was finished, half the people left. The next night, the Airplane asked Hendrix if they could open the show for him. After that, Hendrix became one of the most popular acts of the day.
