Gorgeous Signed AOR 2.329 Grateful Dead Poster
Created by Lee Conklin for a series of June 1969 Grateful Dead shows at the Veterans Memorial Building in Santa Rosa, California and The Barn in Rio Nido, California, this is one of the more sought-after images in the Art of Rock series. Hot Tuna, featuring Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane, opened for the Dead. The Cleanliness and Godliness Skiffle Band made an appearance as well. This image is featured in The Art of Rock as Plate Number 2.329. Original posters are extremely rare; we sold a slightly nicer example in our last auction for just over $10,000!
