The knives weigh appx 24.71 troy ounces (weighted handles with sterling blades), the forks weigh appx 17.8 troy ounces. In good condition consistent with age and use. This item originates from the estate of John A. Williams, a distinguished philanthropist and renowned collector. Mr. Williams and his partner Dewitt Hart were influential members of San Francisco's art society and were celebrated for their discerning taste in modern, ethnographic, and fine art. Over the years, they hosted numerous exhibitions in their home, showcasing their prestigious collection to appreciative audiences.
