Rare original edition of the famous work by the illustrious mathematics professor at the University of Pavia. Second Volume, Geometry, Trigonometry and Conic Sections. The work deals with plane geometry, lines, triangles, quadrilaterals, circles and polygons. In solid geometry, cylinder, cone and sphere are described. Finally, the conic section includes parabola, ellipse and hyperbola studied with geometric methods. Of great importance is the correct statement of the parallel postulate.
