Gothic Revival Iron Ring Chandelier

A six-light wheel-form chandelier constructed from painted iron. The central ring features a repeating openwork pattern of scrolls and stylized floral motifs. Each of the six candle-base light sockets is supported by a flared acanthus leaf-style bobeche. The fixture is suspended from a central hub by six chains composed of large, decoratively cast links. The entire frame is finished in a matte black paint. The fixture is currently fitted with five flame-tip bulbs and five plastic candle sleeves with simulated wax drips. The wiring is cut at the base of the fixture.
