This sculpture hangs with one side against the wall. That is quite unique in the development of Goof (we were an artist couple for 32 years) . From this plane, he could cover the side of the bottom with airplane plywood that bends to one side. The bends all have different sizes which makes the sculpture exciting. This is further emphasised by the shadows that come on the wall and change as the light changes. Every time it's a different appearance. A satin gloss varnish layer has been applied. This is a unique sculpture. Goof has not further developed this shape-language. Claire Begheyn MFA
