Note: This work is based on Francisco de Goya's official portrait (ca. 1806/1811) of Señora Sabasa Garcia, niece of Evaristo Pérez de Castro, Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs. It is part of the Andrew W. Mellon Collection on permanent display at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.
