Qty: (2) Note: A fine copy of the first English edition. Provenance: The Pytts family owned large estates in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. During the seventeenth century, members of the family sat for various Herefordshire constituencies. Jonathan Pytts inherited a large fortune from his maternal grandfather, Admiral Jonathan Collett who died in 1742. He succeeded his brother Edmund to the Kyre estate in 1781, became Sheriff in 1783, and died without issue in 1807.
