Great Britain - Covers - QV : (SG ME1) 1840 Mulready 1d Letter Sheet, Forme 2, Stereo A21, used from LIVERPOOL to WHITEHAVEN on May 7th 1840 (2nd day of use), tied by distinctive ORANGE MALTESE CROSS (also similar datestamp on reverse), back flap torn where seal removed, also (strangely) the silk threads have been removed.
