George IV bronze "Earl of Eldon - Lord Chancellor" Medal 1827 MS64 Brown NGC, BHM-1308, Eimer-1197. 47mm. By C. Voigt. Obv. Bust left in legal wig and gown. Rev. Legend in twelve lines. Eldon was a barrister who served as Lord Chancellor of Great Britain between 1801 and 1806 and again between 1807 and 1827. Chocolatey and glossy, this example retains generous mint brilliance. Some marking on the obverse prevents a Gem-state grade, but this remains visually appealing.
