Greek Campanian Ceramic Bowl, Impressed Palmettes

Fine quality bowl with five deeply impressed palmettes linked by arcs. All surrounded by fine rouletting. Bowl of rounded profile curving up sharply to a slightly incurved rim. Standing on a low rounded foot ring. Typical product of the “atelier des petites estampilles” with its characteristic shape and the fine and lustrous black gloss. Center turned red.
