Greek Campanian Ceramic Skyphos, APZ-Group

Large red-figure skyphos decorated with youths wearing heavy cloaks. They stand between coiling tendrils with half-palmettes. Upright palmettes below the handles. Type A skyphos of swelling body with slightly flared rim. The shape follows late 4th century Attic models. The vase is a product of the APZ group which was active as part of the Cumae A group (CA group) . For a related example, cf. Beazley archive no. 1008209.
