[ translate ]

Ancient Greece, Geometric Period, ca. second half of the 8th century BCE. A fine cast-bronze pendant in the form of an abstract bird with a petite head, a bulbous body with a pair of lateral perforations and a conical base, a crescent-shaped tail, and an integral suspension loop on top.
