Archaic Period, 7th-6th century BC. A broad silver vessel with carinated profile, concentric bands of acanthus and other ornament between applied ridged bulbs. 384 grams, 14.6cm (5 3/4"). From the private collection of a North West London lady; previously with a central London gallery; formerly acquired before 1990; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no. 10385-168395.
