A Greek black-figure lekythos with palmette decoration, 5th Century BC, the side of the vessel adorned with stylized palmettes with vertical tongues between them, black banding below and vertical tongues in two rows on the shoulders; a wide black band below the outside of the rim. H: 5 2/3 in (14.4cm). Light mineral deposits. Ex Southern California private collection.
