Greek bronze arrowhead in silver & sapphire pendant

A Greek bronze arrowhead in silver pendant with sapphires. A Greek bronze arrowhead set in a silver pendant, 5th - 2nd Century BC, the arrowhead from the time of the Persian wars. Excellent bronze arrowhead. Bi-lobate (2-bladed) and barbed type, found at a battlefield in former Thrace-Macedonia near the Black Sea. Set into stunning custom .925 silver bezel adorned with 2 genuine sapphires and hung on an 18-inch Italian silver chain. Arrowhead itself measures 34 mm (1 3/8 in) with olive-green patina; pendant H: 2 3/8 in to top of loop. Ex Berkeley, CA private collection.
