Greg Lynn est un architecte, philosophe et designer américain. Son travail sur l'architecture organique
l'amène à créer des pièces aux formes irrégulières et biomorphiques, en édition limitée, à la frontière de
l'art et du design. Ce fauteuil et son ottoman, appelés "La duchess" est selon le designer "un croisement entre Las Vegas et le luxe", un jeu entre les matériaux durs et les mous. Grâce à la grande taille de l'assise permettant de s'assoir de différentes façons, c'est avant tout le confort et l'amusement qui
sont privilégiés. "Mettez-moi dans un environnement de haute culture" affirme Greg Lynn "et je deviens pop"

Greg Lynn is an American architect, philosopher and designer.
His work on organic architecture leads him to create pieces with irregular and biomorphic shapes, in limited editions, on the border between art and design. This armchair and its ottoman, called "La duchess" is according to the designer "a crossing between Las Vegas and luxury", a game between hard and soft materials.
