A finely hand-carved and hand-painted Mallard drake decoy by award-winning Delaware wildfowl carver Gregg E. Ewell (1959–2022). Realistically modeled with inset eyes, a richly colored green head, yellow bill, white neck ring, blue wing speculum, raised carved wings, and distinctive curled tail feathers. The underside bears Ewell’s signature and carved initials, identifies the subject as “Mallard Drake,” and is dated “11/93” for November 1993. Length: 12 in. Width: 3 in. Height: 3 in.
