This is the title page to the first complete world atlas produced in Austria. This resplendent allegorical scene was drawn by Vinzenz Georg Kininger and engraved by Karl Schutz. The engraving is filled with figures and animals representing the four continents, as well as symbols of astronomy, religion, science, music, and art. A lovely image from Reilly's very rare atlas.

Very wide margins with later hand color, marginal soiling, and an archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
