Group of Continental and American Sterling Silver and Silverplate Miniature Objects de Vertu, Pertaining to Travel and Animals, Late Nineteenth-Twentieth Century. Comprising a Dutch horse-drawn tram, pseudo Amsterdam city and single sword marks; a Dutch figural group of a Colonial man pushing a woman in a sled, pseudo Amsterdam city and sword marks; a Dutch figure of a boy with a hoop, pseudo Amsterdam city mark and numeral "10;" a Dutch figure of a man astride a rocking horse, pseudo Amsterdam city and single sword marks, marked "CARTIER;" a German goat pulling a cart, Martin Mayer, Mainz, after 1888, marked with a crown, "800" and maker's mark; a figure of a putto standing on a chair putting a dog through a hoop, Ludwig Neresheimer & Co., Hanau, marked with Hanau pseudo marks, import marks for Chester, 1898, and importer's mark "BM" for Berthold Muller; a Chinese man rowing a sampan, Ludwig Neresheimer & Co., Hanau, after 1903, marked beneath the sampan; a China trade figure of a man seated in a litter or sedan chair, artisan's ideogram, retailer's mark for Wang Hing & Co., Hong Kong, marked beneath the covered basket; an Edward VII gathering basket, D & (?), Birmingham, 1907, marked beneath, worn maker's mark; an American wheelbarrow, Howard & Co., marked "HOWARD & CO.
