Group of (2) Brandt decoys from South Shore L.I. with solid bodies, but one bird has a thinner neck, the other which has a more common thick neck at the body. Both have early areas of over paint and iron chain ballast. Provenance: Acquired by descent from Dr. George R. Brush, of the settling Brush family of Southold, Long Island, New York.
