Group of (2) Samurai Swords
both having rayskin tsuka with two menuki, gilt accented fuchi and kashira, and pierced tsuba with floral or foliate relief decoration, to include: one with hada pattern on blade, and saya with dull lacquer over wood finish, the tang signed in Japanese "Oshu Aizu ju Kanesada", and inscribed with date "Kanei 11" (1634); the other with nickel plated non-edged blade, and wood saya with lacquer and gilt finish, the tang signed "Tanba no Kami Yoshimichi".
Longer (Kanesada) blade to tsuba 21 7/8 in.
Condition Report: Tarnish, ito loose on one.
