Group of 3 Chinese Famille Rose Snuff Bottles, 19th C.

A group of three Chinese famille rose snuff bottles dating from the 19th century. The lot includes: a rectangular bottle featuring an inscription on two sides, one with a seal, and landscape scenes with figures on the other two sides. A gilt, rectangular bottle featuring a scene with a figure and a dog on one side and flowers on the other; it has a 3-character mark on the bottom. And a bottle with low relief carvings of two figures on one side and three figures on the other side; it has beast head handles, and there is a 2-character mark on the bottom.

Dimensions are: the largest bottle with the inscriptions measures 2 3/4 inches tall 1 1/2 X inches wide, 7 cm X 3.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The bottle with the inscriptions is in overall good condition. The bottle with the 3-character mark has wear to the gilt and glaze. The bottle with the relief carvings has minuscule chips to the rim as well as glaze pops and gilt wear.
