Group of 3 Chinese Famille Rose Snuff Bottles, 19th C.
A group of 3 carved porcelain snuff bottles dating from the 19th century. The group includes: a yellow ground snuff bottle carved with a phoenix and dragon, with a wooden stopper that has a broken spoon; a dragon and phoenix snuff bottle with a 4-character mark with a wood stopper, spoon, and stand; and a guardian lion and beast snuff bottle with a 4-character mark, wood stopper, spoon, and stand.
Dimensions are: the largest dragon and phoenix snuff bottle measures 3 1/2 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide, 8.89 cm X 4.45 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The yellow-ground snuff bottle has 2 chips to the foot and wear to the glaze, the other 2 are in good condition.
Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Mullen in Upstate New York. Mr. Mullen was a world traveler and collected from different countries from the 1950s to the 1980s.
