Group of 3 Chinese Snuff Bottles, 19th Century
A group of three Chinese snuff bottles dating from the 19th century. The lot includes: an imitation coral Peking glass bottle with a Peking glass stopper with a spoon; it is carved with lotuses. A reticulated quartz bottle with a glass stopper with a hand-shaped spoon; it is carved with beast head handles and engaged rings. And a jadeite bottle carved with leaves.
Dimensions are: the Peking glass bottle measures 2 3/8 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 6 cm X 5.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The Peking glass bottle has a few chips to the rim and glass pops throughout. The quartz bottle is in overall good condition. The jadeite bottle has several cracks and chipping throughout.
Provenance: From a private Connecticut collection.
