Group of 3 Pierced Jade Plaques, 18-19th Century
A group of 3 Chinese pierced jade plaques dating from the 18th to the 19th century. The group includes: a rectangular pierced plaque featuring a Shou character, pair of dragons, and a Shou medallion; a round plaque with 2 flowers surrounded by a frame of circular elements; and a plaque featuring 2 butterflies among flowers, with a wood stand.
Dimensions are: plaque with 2 butterflies- 2 1/4 inches tall X 4 inches wide; 5.7 cm tall X 10.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Age wear to the surface of the plaque with 2 butterflies, the other 2 are in good condition.
Provenance: From Loma Linda University in California; donated by the estate of a former professor.
