Group of 5 Porcelain Bird Feeders, 19-20th Century

A Chinese group of 5 porcelain bird feeders dating from the 19th to the early 20th century. Included in the group of 5 are: a bird feeder with dragon roundels, a Greek key border, and a 4-character mark; a pair of feeders with a black and white lotus band and 4 character marks; a feeder with crane roundels and a tapered base; a feeder with a famille rose flower band and a 4 character mark.

Dimensions are: the largest measures 2 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: All are in overall good condition.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok’s daughter and grandson. Items from the same collector were sold at our September Fine Asian Art & Antiques auctions, 2019.
