Group of Coin Silver Fiddle-Handled Spoons, Various Makers and Retailers, Early Nineteenth Century. Comprising eight fiddle tipt teaspoons, each engraved "A.C. Neale.," and two tablespoons, each engraved with the letter "L," one teaspoon marked "C.T. EMERY" and the remaining each marked "G.F. MELCHER," all into rectangles; one tablespoon, engraved with the initials "LAP, partial maker's mark J.K. FE.." and "LOWELL;" set of four teaspoons, A. Stowell & Co., each engraved with the initials "ACL" in script, each marked incuse, with factory mark, and "STERLING;"and a set of four teaspoons, John Farrington & George W. Hunnewell, Boston, circa 1850, each engraved with the initials "AMN" in script, marked incuse. (19) 10.33 troy oz. Largest spoon: H: 7 in., W: 1.5 in., D: 1.25 in.
