Comprising a French cut brass inlaid ebony and rosewood glove box by Maison Vervelle, Paris; a Napoleon III cut brass inlaid glove box; and an English walnut lap desk. Together with a Williamsburg Restoration mahogany bombe tea caddy form jewelry box by Virginia Metalcrafters. (4)

Maison Vervelle founded 1804 at 1, rue Neuve-Montorency Feydeau by Jean-Francois Vervelle. Specializing in small pieces of furniture; boxes, cases, liquor cabinets, etc.

Dimensions: Height of lap desk 5 1/2in; width 12in; depth 9 1/4in; Height of jewelry box 6 1/4in; width 10in; depth 6in; Height of ebony glove box 3 1/2in; width 10 1/2in; depth 4in; Height of Napoleon III glove box 3 1/2in; width 11 3/4in; depth 4in.
Condition Report: Each with general marks, wear, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses. The ebony glove box is in generally good condition, with a small loss around the key hole. With key. The lap desk with restoration and small repairs to the interior. The Williamsburg restoration jewelry box with scuffs, and surface scratches along edges.
