Group of Four Jade Items
Group of four small jade carvings: a recumbent Bactrian camel with head raised and legs folded beneath the body; a rectangular seal surmounted by a recumbent deer, in pale creamy stone with russet inclusions; a recumbent horse with head lowered to the foreleg, warm russet skin across the back; and a recumbent beast with ears laid back and tail curled over the haunch. Mottled celadon and creamy-white stone throughout. Chinese.
Condition: Very Good. Light surface scratches and minor abrasion to the extremities. A small circular depression to one flank of the fourth figure. Natural russet skin and inclusions throughout are inherent to the stone, not condition faults. No chips, cracks or repairs apparent.
