Available here for your consideration is a variety group of Military bits and spurs. The brass bit has a tag stating it is a French military curb bit, the same style as used by the Napoleon Calvary. The spurs are also very utilitarian in their design. One appears to be a screw-out neck spur and another a patent box spur. This group would be a great start or addition to a military collection of cavalry items. Make your bid today!
MAKER: Metal bit stamped with what looks like BLTRIUNF. See pictures for details. Spurs with buckles stamped ENGLAND. Smallest spurs stamped 1903.
APPROX AGE: Antique (meaning made prior to the 1930s).
SIZE: Bits measure approx: The mouths measures 5 inches wide, and are 8 inches and 8 1/2 inches long overall. Spurs measure approx: The heel openings measure between 2 inches and 3 inches, the band width measures between 1/4 inches and 3/8 inches and the shanks measure between 1 3/4 inches and 1 3/8 inches long overall.
CONDITION: Average to good for their age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
