British/American, most of rectangular form with inlaid ebonized wood and ivory in geometric patterns, some with tortoiseshell accents, one with inlaid agate panel, 3/4 x 2-5/8 x 1-1/4 in. to 1 x 4 x 1-7/8 in. Note: From a private collection representing 18th and 19th century tea caddies and boxes of various designs from America, Britain, Asia and Europe.
