Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The metal presents with an irregular hammered surface inherent to production. The metal surfaces present with scattered scratches, light scuffing, small indentations and light wear throughout consistent with gentle use. The metal presents with areas of discoloration, light pitting and oxidation, consistent with age and the natural evolution of the material. The interiors and recessed areas of the design present with light surface soiling which may be carefully polished at the buyer’s discretion. The rosewood mounts are in well-preserved condition with surface irregularities inherent to the wood grain as well as minor abrasions and light wear consistent with gentle use. The base of one vase with a very minor chip to the rosewood measuring approximately ½ in., only visible upon close inspection.
